We are a symphonic metal band of friends, getting together on a monthly basis to rehearse and learn. Our main projects include playing several compositions of the German Band Haggard. Our monthly rehearsal meetings are three-four days long, lasting up to twelve hours daily. Friends and family members often join us. In the silence breaks, our whispered conversations most often include philosophical and spiritual topics, coming up in our spontaneous reflections upon playing and listening to our music, as well as emerging from our personal preoccupations at different stages of our becoming. We would like to share some of these reflections with you and invite you to think with us, doing what we like best: play, sing, contemplate nature and discuss those questions that have always preoccupied humanity.
Gain access to the newsletter of Coincidentia Oppositorum by subscribing to our newsletter and we will provide you with texts put together by our band members and other talented enthusiasts, resulting in a blend of philosophy and music. You are welcome to subscribe for free or to support our projects by choosing a monthly or yearly plan. All posts are available to free subscribers for one year, afterwards they are placed behind a paywall as an archive of memories and philosophical reflections available to paying subscribers.

We are a community of people, tied by friendship, love for music and the philosophical principles of reason and goodwill. We are diverse. We are many and we gladly, joyfully and respectfully agree and disagree. We also cannot all meet every time, but wherever we are, we experience this beautiful belonging together that enables us to feel connected irrespective of distance, and individualised irrespective of how much we have in common.
